When we arrived at the reception hall, it seemed to be very much what you might expect in the United States, but you only needed to look at the view during the outdoor cocktail hour to be reminded where you were. Once inside the feast began. I believe the dinner consisted of 10 courses. Once again I hope someone can post the menu because I don't remember specifics.
In between the courses there was wine, music, dancing, laughing, crying, fireworks and a Venetian hour that began at 1:00 AM.
When the evening was finally over and morning was quickly approaching, we took our seats in the bus for the drive back to Il Feudo with a sense that we had shared something precious and unique. Grateful and tired, we looked forward to what was ahead. The next day we would share another experience that would reach back in time to remind us of our common bonds.
