Welcome

It is Monday August 4th. Seth and I travelled 22 hours door to door yesterday. Today has been a day of laundry and organizing photographs for me. Seth went to work early this morning. I was hoping to get this blog up and running as quickly as possible. I may make some changes along the way. My intention is for it to be an open forum for us to share our photographs and thoughts about our trip, to share with those who couldn't join us and to document our journey before it is a distant memory. I will send all my fellow travelers the passwords for this blog so you can create your own posts. I encourage anyone to add comments to the posts and let us know what you are thinking and feeling.

I'm still organizing my photographs and will be posting in bits and pieces, so keep checking back. For now I will leave you with a photograph of the reason we all went to Italy.
